A Baby Break~~
I am so excited. The kids called me for lunch and presented me with this picture. First photos of my first grandchild!! He/she is 10 weeks and 4 days in this ultrasound*. Whooohooo!!!
------I think he/she kinda looks like me. Don't you? LOL----------
(*from left to right: head w/ a hand in front of his/her head and then the bottom. very photogenic!)
I don't know how many people honor the sacred knitting holiday known as "Talk Like A Pirate" Day. I found this great site with amazing 'count-down-to-pirate-day' borders. http://ult-tex.net/counts/tlapd/index.cgi Thought I would share! Look at the end of this blog and check out one of them. (of course I chose the one with Johnny Depp) Enjoy.
Look!! Socks!! The bad thing about moving is sometimes the label falls off and you can't remember what the yarn is, or who sold it to you, or how to wash it. The good thing is it still makes up into a really cool sock that actually doesnt look so bad with the MAJOR amount of pooling going on. Personally I think it's kind of hypnotic.
This is a basic sock with a 6k-1p-2k-1p rib pattern. This is one of my favorite patterns simply because it is mindless but looks a bit busy. I love the little stripey toes!!
Steph went to St Paul** and the staff of the Yarnery wrote songs for her!! These are hilarious! And fairly decent too.
This one is my favorite!!

**sorry guys, I cant read. I put Atlanta when it should have been St Paul. Am going back to "See Dick, See Dick run. See Jane. See Jane run". Thanks Amy :)
I'm crazy about my son, my knitting, and being a nurse. I have great friends, a great family and an interesting life that never leaves me bored. I'm am avid Stitch and Bitcher, our amazing group rocks!
